Deltron 3030 is something you could call a hip hop supergroup. The members are producer Dan the Automator(you might know him from Handsome Boy Modeling School), rapper Del tha Funkee Homosapien and DJ Kid Koala. Their first selftitled album is a concept album set in the year 3030, with Del rapping about how he is fighting against the corporations that rule the world in this future. It was released in 2000 and became an instant classic. Check out the song "3030" here:
Now they are preparing the follow up to that album called "Deltron Event II" and of course most people can't wait for the release. And there actually is a sample around on youtube and it shouldn't be long until this comes out. And I have to say it sounds really great, now I'm even more hyped for this one. Gonna post more samples and news as soon as I find them.
