I'm not too big of a fan of "The Fame" but I think she has somewhat revived pop music and made it a bit more entertaining again. In the times of Biebers and Miley Cyrus it's interesting to see someone who has more of an edge and at least tries to be artistic.
She is now about to release her second album called "Born This Way" (May 23, 2011) and these are the confirmed tracks as of now:
- "Americano"
- "Bad Kids"
- "Bloody Mary"
- "Born This Way"
- "Edge of Glory"
- "Government Hooker"
- "Hair"
- "Highway Unicorn (Road to Love)"
- "Judas"
- "Marry the Night"
- "Scheiße"
- "You and I"
Two of the songs have been released as singles already, check out the video/audio below:
Lady Gaga - Born This Way
Lady Gaga - Judas
I think these new songs are very similar to the ones on her last album and she's also keeping up her controversial style as heard on "Judas" (which some religious nuts don't like apparently). So musically we have the same old formula here, but the songs are catchy and I think Lady Gaga will again have a lot of success with this one. What do you think?
Preorder the album here:
Lady Gaga is really garnering a lot of good hype on TV. People really love her.

ReplyDeleteshe should do a cover album, judas priest and stuff
ReplyDeleteI don't like when lady gaga tries to be too offensive. I'm never offended but I just get annoyed because its such a thin veil she's behind. But generally, I do like her stuff.
ReplyDelete"she should do a cover album, judas priest and stuff" lol. Lady Ga Ga is actually a good musician, but she gave into techno beats instead of having more soul in her music and melodies. It's kind of sad, but I suppose she is still great. I just wish she went more of an acoustic piano route. Whenever she does acoustic stuff it's always so interesting.
